Kangsters’ Wheely-X

Good Morning!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Faith Factor’s newsletter, your biweekly overview of Christian-related startup/VC news and content.

Startup of the Week: Kangsters

Founded by Tyrion Kim and John Cho in 2020, Kangsters aims to help wheelchair users more effectively exercise. When using a wheelchair, it can be difficult and awkward to regularly exercise and cultivate a healthy lifestyle. One might have poor roads and sidewalks in their area, or live in a place that is simply not suited to wheelchairs. Enter Kangsters- their main product, the Wheely-X, aims to be an effective home fitness solution. The Wheely-X is a stationary wheelchair stand, similar to a treadmill, that users can customize to their preferences. It tracks users’ various exercise metrics, and includes wheelchair-focused cardio and exercise content. Apart from the Wheely-X, Kangsters also offers a portable wheelchair wheel washing device. The two founders built the product after each growing up in families that faced physical disability problems, and aim to help other families overcome the issues their own relatives faced.
